What is the game?
The game of whist is played by four players, two partners sitting facing each other and the other two players sitting opposite them. All four players have a standard deck of 52 cards. The object of the game is to gain points by winning tricks, the points being scored for each trick you win.
When all four players have played their cards, the player who has the highest total of points wins the game. If the scores are equal, the player who won the most tricks wins.
